National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has released the notification for the recruitment of the posts of Manager, Engineer and Sr. Chemist for its various Units/Offices. Eligible candidates may apply before 27-05-2020 (03-06-2020 for far-flung areas).

(ii) One year Post qualification inline experience in erection/ maintenance of Ammonia-Urea Fertilizer complex / Continuous process chemical / Petro Chemical industry.

Engg.) in Instrumentation/ Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation & Electronics/ Electronics & Electrical Engineering from recognized Institute OR AMIE in Electronics & Communication Engineering. (ii) One year Post qualification inline maintenance experience in process control instrumentation in Ammonia-Urea Fertilizer complex / Continuous process chemical / Petro Chemical industry.
Engineer (Civil) Rs.40000-140000 p.m.	01	(i) Minimum 60% marks in Degree (B. Tech./ B.E.) in Civil Engineering from recognized Institute OR AMIE in Civil Engineering. (ii) One year Post qualification inline regular or direct contractual experience in PSU/ Govt. Organization/ Large Private Company (preferably in ammonia urea fertilizer or petrochemical sector).
Sr. Chemist Rs.40000-140000 p.m.	06	(i) M.Sc (Chemistry) (ii) One year Post qualification inline experience in NABL accredited LAB/ Ammonia Urea Fertilizer complex / Continuous process chemical / Petro Chemical industry.
Engineer (Fire and Safety) Rs.40000-140000 p.m.	01	(i) Minimum 60% marks in Degree (B. Tech./ B.E.) in Fire Engg./ Safety & Fire Engg. OR Minimum 60% marks in Degree (B. Tech./ B.E./ BSc Engg.) in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Chemical with Divisional Officers Course from National Fire Service College (NFSC), Nagpur. (ii) One year Experience in recognized Fire station/ AmmoniaUrea Fertilizer Complex/ Continuous process chemical/ Petro Chemical refinery.

PSU Jobs – Public Sector Undertakings as career in India

Public Sector Undertakings or PSUs are basically companies owned by the Union Government of India or by one of the many state or territorial government. In certain cases, it is both.

What makes a PSU is that a majority of the stocks in the company need to be owned by the Government. The general classification for PSU is as Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) and State level Public Enterprises (SLPEs).

The progress of PSEs has been steady over the years. All the way back in 1951, there were just five Public Sector Undertakings in India. As of 1991, this number had increased all the way to 246.

Specifically speaking, the Central Public Sector Enterprises are companies that have Central Government direct holding of 51 per cent or more. These CPSEs are administered by the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises.
