India Post Recruitment 2021 – 221 Postman and Others

India Post has released the notification for the recruitment to the post of Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, Postman and MTS cadre under Sports Quota in Delhi Postal Circle. Eligible candidates can apply before 12-11-2021.

Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant Rs.25500 – 81100	72	(i) 10+2 standard or 12th class pass from recognized university/ board. (ii) In case of the candidates possessing equivalent educational qualifications, such candidates shall also produce relevant equivalence certificates from the concerned authorities at the time of submission of documents. (iii) The candidates of higher qualifications will also be considered but they have to fulfil the above conditions. There are no bonus marks for higher education. (ii) The candidates will be required to furnish a certificate of basic computer training from a recognized Computer training institute before issuance of the appointment letter. Computer training certificates from central/ state government/ university/ board will also be accepted for this purpose. This requirement of a basic computer knowledge certificate is relaxable in cases where a candidate has studied computer as a subject in matriculation or Class XII or higher educational qualification and in such cases, a separate certificate will not be insisted upon.
Postman Rs.21700 – 69100	90	(i) 12th pass from a recognized board. (ii) Knowledge of the local language. The candidates should have studied the local language at least up to the 10th standard. (iii) The candidates will be required to furnish a certificate of basic computer training from a recognized Computer training institute before issuance of the appointment letter. Computer training certificates from central/ state government/ university/ board will also be accepted for this purpose. This requirement of basic computer knowledge certificate is relaxable in cases where a candidate has studied computer as a subject in matriculation or Class XII or higher educational qualification and in such cases, a separate certificate will not be insisted upon. (iv) Candidates should have a valid license of a two-wheeler or three-wheeler or light motor vehicle within a period of two years from the date of their appointment. Persons with disabilities are exempted from the possession of the license.
MTS Rs.18000 – 56900	59	(i) 10th pass from a recognized board. (ii) Knowledge of the local language. The candidates should have studied the local language at least up to the 10th standard.

Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, Postman	18 – 27 years
MTS	18 – 25 years

Application Fee:- The candidates have to pay Rs.100 through e-payment in National e-biller id no 70115 in any computerized Post Office in India through Challan form.

Eligible candidates can apply through the prescribed application format.
Duly filled application along with all attested copies of certificate and enclosure should be sent to The Assistant Director (R and E), O/o Chief Postmaster General, Delhi Circle, Meghdoot Bhawan, New Delhi-110001 through speed or registered post on or before 12-11-2021.
Superscribe the envelope with the name of the post.

First Preference	Candidates who have represented the country in an international competition with the clearance of the department of youth affairs and sports.
Second Preference	Candidates who have represented a state/ union territory in the senior or junior level national championship organized by the national sports federations recognized by the department of youth affairs and sports or national games organized by the Indian Olympic Association and have won medals or positions up to the third place. Between the candidates participating in senior and junior national championship/ games, the candidates who have participated and won the medals in the senior national championship gets preference
Third Preference	Candidates who have represented a University in an Inter-University competition conducted by the association of Indian Universities/ Inter-University Sports Board and have won medals or positions up to third place in finals.
Fourth Preference	Candidates who have represented a State Schools in the National Sports/ Games for schools conducted by the All Indian Schools Games federation and have won medals or positions up to third place.
Fifth Preference	Candidates who have been awarded National Award in Physical Efficiency under National Physical Efficiency Drive.
Sixth Preference	Candidates who have represented a State/ Union Territory/ University State School teams at the level (II) to (IV) above but could not win a medal or position in the same order of preference.

Place of Posting:- The selected candidates shall be posted anywhere in Delhi Circle.
