Punjab Police Recruitment 2021 – 560 SI and Others

Punjab Police has released the notiifcation for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector in the 3 cadres of (i) District Police, (ii) Armed Police and (iii) Investigation and Intelligence Officers (in the rank of Sub-Inspector) in the Intelligence Cadre. Eligible candidates can apply before 27-07-2021 (11:55 P.M).

Sub-Inspector (Armed Police)	97
Intelligence Officers (Intelligence Cadre)	87	Candidate should be a) a graduate from a recognized University or Institution, as the case may be, provided that such candidate shall also possess an ‘O’ Level Certificate of Information Technology from the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) (earlier called as DOEACC). OR b) a Graduate from a recognized University or Institution with Computer Science or Computer Applications or Information Technology as one of the elective subjects during the entire duration of graduation. OR c) B.Sc/ B.Tech/ B.E in Information Technology or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Systems or Computer Networking or Data Science or Software Engineering or BCA or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized University or Institution, as the case may be.
Sub-Inspector (Investigation )	289	The candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university or its equivalent.

Pay Scale:- Rs.35,400/- (minimum pay admissible) at Level 6 of 7th CPC/Pay Matrix

Age Limit:- 18 – 28 years

Ex-Servicemen (ESM) of Punjab State only/Lineal Descendants of ESM	Rs.700
SC/ST of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab State only	Rs.900
Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)	Rs.900

Candidates are required to make online payment of the requisite fee.

Selection Procedure:- Computer Based Test (CBT), Document Scrutiny, Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test (PST)

Notes:-

Fee once paid shall not be refunded.
The number of posts may be increased or decreased by the Punjab Government.
Age relaxation will be given as per govt rules.
Candidates must have passed the Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects, or any other equivalent examination in the Punjabi language.
