GPSC Recruitment 2021 – 1419 Professor and Others

Chief Chemist, Class-I Rs. 1,18,500/- to 2,14,100/-	01	(i) a Ph.D. degree in inorganic chemistry on the aspect of Mineral Chemistry obtained from any of the universities established by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and (a) have about five years experience on the post not below the rank of Chemist, Class I, in the Gujarat Mining Service under the Commissionerate of Geology and Mining, Gujarat State; or (b) have about five years experience of which about four years should have been practical experience in the analysis of rocks mineral and ores and about one year administrative experience in a mineral testing laboratory which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Chemist, Class I, in the Gujarat Mining Service under the Commissionerate of Geology and Mining, Gujarat State; or (ii) a second class post-graduate degree in Chemistry (inorganic or Analytical) obtained from any of the universities established by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and (a) have about seven years experience on the post not below the rank of Chemist, Class I, in the Gujarat Mining Service under the Commissionerate of Geology and Mining, Gujarat State; or (b) have about seven years experience of which about six years should have been practical experience in the analysis of rocks mineral and ores and about one year administrative experience in a mineral testing laboratory which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Chemist, Class I, in the Gujarat Mining Service under the Commissionerate of Geology and Mining, Gujarat State. (iii) Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; (iv) Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
Agriculture Engineer Rs. 53,100 – 1, 67,800/- (Pay Matrix Level-09)	04	(A) a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Engineering/ a bachelor’s degree of Technology(Agriculture engineering) obtained from any of the Agriculture Universities established or incorporated by or under the central Agriculture Universities Act or State Agriculture Universities Act in India; or (B) a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technology obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or (C) Possess (a) (i) a diploma in Agriculture Engineering obtained from any of the Agriculture Universities established or incorporated by or under the central Agriculture Universities Act or State Agriculture Universities Act in India; or (ii) a diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Automobile Engineering obtained from Technical Examination Board or any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and (b)(i) Have about 2 years experience on the post not below the rank of Mechanic, Class III in the subordinate service of the Agriculture Department; or (ii) have about 2 years experience in the field of agriculture academic/agriculture research/ agriculture extension service/ agriculture machinery maintenance/ agriculture engineering in the Government/ Local bodies/ Government Undertaking Board/ Corporation/ Agriculture University/ research institute approved by Indian Council of Agriculture research/ Limited Company established under the Companies act, 2013 on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Mechanic, Class III in the subordinate service of the Agriculture Department. (c) Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and (d) Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
