University of Hyderabad (UOH), Telangana has released the notification for the recruitment of the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in various disciplines. Eligible candidates may apply online before 26-08-2019.

| Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, Languages | Professor:- i) PhD Degree in the concerned/ relevant disciplines and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research publications in journals notified in the UGC CARE list and a total research score of 120. ii) A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in university/colleges as Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor and/or research experience at an equivalent level at the University/ National Level Institutions. OR PhD Degree in the concerned/ relevant disciplines from any academic institution with 10 years experience. Associate Professor:- i) A good academic record, with a PhD Degree in the concerned disciplines. ii) Masters degree with at least 55% marks. iii) Minimum of 08 years of experience of teaching and/ or research in an academic/ research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or accredited Research Institution/ Industry with a minimum of 07 publications in journals notified in the UGC CARE list and a total research score of 75. Assistant Professor:- i) Masters degree with at least 55% marks in the concerned disciplines from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree from an accredited foreign university. ii) Candidates must have cleared the NET conducted by UGC/ CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or PhD degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission. OR PhD Degree has been obtained from a foreign university/ institution with a ranking of the top 500 in the World University Ranking by one of the following:- a) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) b) Times Higher Education (THE) c) Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai). |
| Computer and Information Science | Professor:- i) PhD Degree in a relevant field and first class or equivalent at either Bachelors or Masters Level in the relevant Branch. ii) Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching/ research/ industry out of at least 3 years as an Associate Professor. iii) At least 6 high-quality research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/ UGC CARE list/ AICTE approved a list of journals and at least 2 successful PhD guided as Supervisor/ Co-Supervisor. OR At least 10 high-quality research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/ UGC CARE list/ AICTE approved a list of journals. OR i) Post Graduate qualification MD/MS in the concerned subject as per the MCI Regulations. ii) An Associate Professor in the subject for 3 years in a permitted/ approved/ recognized medical college/institution with 4 research publications in indexed journals with minimum 2 research publications during the tenure of Associate Professor. Associate Professor:- i) A good academic record, with a PhD Degree in the concerned disciplines. ii) Masters degree with at least 55% marks. iii) Minimum of 08 years of experience of teaching and/ or research in an academic/ research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or accredited Research Institution/ Industry with a minimum of 07 publications in journals notified in the UGC CARE list and a total research score of 75.
