The requirement for a geo-scientist has increased over the years. As the planet increasingly inches towards destruction, we need as many expert hands on deck, who would know to steer the Earth towards the restoration of its natural resources before it is too late.
In order to strengthen our contribution to our Mother land and to our planet, the UPSC has rolled out a notification for the recruitment of 106 Geo-scientists.
Interested candidates can apply for the position by filling the online form that comes for a nominal cost of ₹200/-
You can pay the cost through any branch of Visa / Master / RuPay credit or Debit card, or by resorting to the Internet banking section of SBI.
Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark disability are exempted from the payment of the application charge.
Dates to remember
The starting date for the application is the 25th of September 2019.
Last date for the receipt of application for the position is 15th of October 2019, up to 6:00 only, after which all application portals for the same would shut down.
The date for preliminary examinations would be the 19TH of January 2020 and the main exams would be held on the 27th and 28th of June 2020.
Age limit for the positions
The minimum age limit for the position would be 21 years and the maximum would be 32 years. Age relaxations for SC/ST/PWD would be applicable as per the rules set by the Government of India.
