DOT Recruitment 2020 – 101 Sub Divisional Engineer and Junior Telecom Officer Posts

Department of Telecommunications (DOT), Chandigarh has released the notification for the recruitment to the post of Sub Divisional Engineer and Junior Telecom Officer in various Department/ Specialty. Eligible candidates can apply before 02-03-2020.

Sub Divisional Engineer Rs.47600 – 151100	90	An officer from the Central or State government or Union Territories or PSU or Universities or Recognized Research or Statutory and Autonomous Bodies:- (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department or (ii) With two years service in the level rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-7 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department or (iii) With six years service in the level rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-6 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department or Educational Qualification:- (i) Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent in Electrical/ Electronics/ Electrical Communication/ Computer Science/ Telecommunication/ Information Technology from a University. Or (ii) Passed Section A and B of the Institution Examination of the institution of Engineer. OR (iii) Obtained Degree or Diploma in Engineering from such foreign university or College or Institution Or under such conditions as may be recognized by the government for the purpose from time to time or (iv) Graduate Membership Examination of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers. OR (v) Graduate Membership Examination of Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November 1959. Or (vi) Passed Associate Membership Examination Parts-II and III or Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India. and (vii) 2 years of experience in the field of Telecommunication and Administration.
Junior Telecom Officer Rs.44900 – 142400	11	The officer from the Central government shall be eligible who are (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department or (ii) With five years service in the level rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-6 and Educational Qualification:- Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent in Electrical/ Electronics/ Electrical Communication/ Computer Science/ Telecommunication/ Information Technology from a University. Or (ii) Passed Section A and B of the Institution Examination of the institution of Engineer. OR (iii) Obtained Degree or Diploma in Engineering from such foreign university or College or Institution Or under such conditions as may be recognized by the government for the purpose from time to time or (iv) Graduate Membership Examination of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers. OR (v) Graduate Membership Examination of Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November 1959. Or (vi) Passed Associate Membership Examination Parts-II and III or Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India. or (vii) Any other qualification which has been recognized by the government in the consultant with the UPSC on the purpose of admission into the Engineering Service Examination.

Age Limit:- 56 years
