Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi has released a notification for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2020 to determine the eligibility of the candidates for the post of Teacher for Class-I to VIII in Central Government Schools. Eligible candidates may register online before 24-02-2020.

Teacher for Classes I-V | (i) Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR (ii) Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR (iii) Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). OR (iv) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR (v) Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). |
Teacher for Classes VI-VIII | (i) Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR (ii) Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR (iii) Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR (iv) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). OR (v) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed. OR (vi) Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed (Special Education). OR Any candidate having qualified B.Ed programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. |

Mode of payment:-
(i) E-Challan by depositing the prescribed fee in CTET Exam Fee Account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.
(ii) By Online-mode (Payment by Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking)

Notes:-
- Incomplete application will not be accepted.
- The examination will be conducted at anywhere in India.
- Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
- The candidates shall report at the Examination Centre 90 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
