BU Recruitment 2021 – 49 Teaching Posts

The University of Burdwan has released the notification for the recruitment of Teaching posts for the Department of (i) Molecular Biology and Human Genetics (ii) Physiology (iii) Nutrition and Public Health (iv) Electronics and Communication (v) Geospatial Science (vi) Psychology and (vii) Women’s Studies. Eligible candidates can apply before 01-03-2021 (05:30 p.m.).

Post Name and Pay Scale	Vacancies	Qualification and Experience
Department of Molecular Biology and Human Genetics
Professor	01	(i) An eminent scholar having Postgraduate Degree (M.Sc.) in Human Genetics/ Genetics/ Zoology / Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Physiology/ Biophysics or allied subjects, (ii) Ph.D. degree and or post-doctoral research experience in the area of Human Genetics/ Cell Biology/ immunology/Genomics or allied areas as evident from high-quality publications. (iii) A minimum of ten years of teaching/Research experience as per stipulated guidelines. (iv) Research supervision as evidence of guiding PhD students as per norms.
Associate Professor	02	(i) Post graduate Degree (M.Sc.) in Human genetics/ Genetics/ Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology / Biotechnology/ Physiology/ Biophysics or allied subjects. (ii) Ph.D. Research in the area of Human Genetics/ Molecular Biology/ allied areas as evident from high-quality publications. (iii) A minimum of eight years of teaching/research experience as per stipulated guidelines.
Assistant Professor	04	(i) Post graduate (M.Sc.) in Molecular Biology/Human genetics/ Genetics/ Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Physiology/ Biophysics or allied subjects. (ii) Area of Specialization/ Domain Knowledge: Molecular Biology/ Human genetics/ Genetics/Zoology / Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Physiology/ Biophysics or allied subjects. (iii) NET/SET/Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology/ Human genetics/ allied discipline as per UGC norms.
